About Dr. Marzario
Dr. Barbara Marzario is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association and the American Academy of Dermatology.
She completed her medical degree (MB BCh BAO) at University College Cork, Ireland, and her dermatology residency at the University of Ottawa, where she was a Chief Resident. She also holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Art History from the University of Toronto.
She was the recipient of multiple awards in the areas of dermatology patient care, academic excellence in dermatology and the history of medicine.
Dr. Marzario has authored multiple different articles in scientific journals including The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery and The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Her areas of clinical interest include skin cancer, medical dermatology, pigmented lesions and dermoscopy.
